EFT Tapping Technique: Feel and Tap

Most people don't know about the power of using the method of tuning into your body while tapping. For such a simple technique, it's surprisingly effective.
How We Feel Emotions
It's the physical sensations you feel that inform you that you're having an emotion. Your first sign that you're having an emotion is your physical reaction.
This is an example: You feel excited. How can you tell? Your heart rate increases. Your breathing moves into your chest. Your stomach feels jittery.
How's It Done?
Notice that you're feeling a disturbing emotion. Get quiet and tune in to your body. Notice any places that feel tight, restricted or painful. Notice if your breath feels tight or relaxed.
Now start tapping. Tap the eyebrow point, side of eye, under the eye, under the nose, chin, collarbone, under the arm and the top of your head.
How long you tap at each point isn't important. No need to count. What's most important is that you tune into your body while tapping.
After tapping a few rounds, take a nice deep breath.
Tune in to your body again. What are you feeling? Notice your breath and the areas that were tight or uncomfortable before tapping.
Continue the process until all the previous emotion-related body discomfort is relaxed.
When to Use this Body Tapping Technique

This tune in and tap method is also good for issues where your might get triggered with too much emotion if you visualize or think about the situation. Just tapping on the body sensation can be a gentler way that still goes a long way to clear the issue.
